The Newcastle Jets are excited to welcome Bonvilla Estate as the club’s official wine brand.
Celebrating Local Heritage Through Premium Wines
As part of the collaboration, the Jets will host special events at Bonvilla Estate in Pokolbin, while fans can also enjoy Bonvilla wines as part of the club’s premium matchday experience.
Bonvilla Estate is a family-run vineyard in the Hunter Valley, known for its breath-taking views and a cellar door that was recently recognised as a finalist for Cellar Door of the Year at the Hunter Valley Wine and Tourism Awards.
Bonvilla Estate stays true to its Hunter Valley roots, producing single-vineyard wines from vines planted over 30 years ago. The vineyard reflects the region’s rich heritage, dating back to 1832 when James Busby returned from Europe with 20,000 vine cuttings a moment that helped establish the Hunter Valley as Australia’s first great wine region.
Owner of Bonvilla Estate, Allan McKeown, said the vineyard is thrilled to join forces with the Newcastle Jets, bringing their award-winning wines to fans and celebrating the shared Hunter Valley connection.
“As a proud Newcastle owned family vineyard, Bonvilla is delighted to be the official Newcastle Jets wine partner, joining together two passionate Hunter Valley brands. We look forward to introducing our award-winning premium wines to Jets members and supporters and welcoming them to our stunning Hunter Valley cellar door. With a fantastic start to the 2025/2026 campaign, it looks like we will have plenty of occasions to toast Jets victories with Bonvilla Estate wines,” she said via press release.
“We have been very impressed with the Jets ownership and management team and their plans to rebuild this football club. Our innovative Jets partnership is our first foray into the sports and lifestyle market which will see some exciting activations during the season which will delight both Jets fans and Bonvilla Estate members.”
